Mum Christmas Gift Ideas
Yay! We’ve got to my favourite post! We’re looking at what to get a Mum for Christmas. So dads, take note!
Whether its your first christmas as a mummy like me, or you’ve been a mummy for a while its always lovely to receive gifts from your children or husband.
Primrose is only 11 weeks old, so it’ll be Conor choosing and planning my christmas present this year. We’ve decided that wed have a limited budget this year as we want to spend the majority of our christmas money on Primrose in the sales. So all of the gift ideas on my list are fairly cheap, with a couple of big ones in case you’re budget stretches further than ours.
I absolutely love this idea of having Primroses birth details on a necklace, and if you’ve got older children you can get a drawing engraved instead. How adorable.
As we all know ever mother needs some ‘me’ time once in a while. What’s more perfect and fun than making your own facemask!
This I think is genus. Breastfeeding is such a hard but worthwhile journey these tokens are great motivation and keepsakes.
I’m a bit behind in the times but I’ve always wanted one of these box lights. Perfect to write little updates of Primrose on. But i think in our house it’d soon just display profanity.
What woman does love scented candles? I was recently looking at which was the best scented candle and John Lewis came out on top! So this little collection would be perfect to try out all the lovely smells.
This says me all over. I’m constantly shopping online and get a package in the post pretty much everyday. this doormat is needed and i think my postman would find it funny too!
These two tops are amazing. Such positive messages about the female postpartum body and breastfeeding. I need these in my life.
Anything from Lush
Lush is the place where I get my bath goodies form, nowhere else can even slightly compare. I love everything they make! Get me a bath bomb and ill love you forever.
Gifts that keep on giving
Now this is a treat that comes every month with goodies for a mum. They also donate £1 per box purchased to support PANDAS which I think is amazing of them.
Since being dairy free I’ve found it so hard to get hold of tasty goodies. A food subscription box is what every mum dreams of. Perfect for a quick tasty naughty snack whilst the baby naps.
This is top on my Christmas list. Not only is it eco friendly but it’s a really big size. It has a cooler pocket and wetbag included, only effect for cloth nappies and weaning. There’s also so many pockets and compartments! The perfect changing bag.
This is because nowadays we take so many photos on our phones but never do anything with them. If we had this camera I’d be so easy to print them and keep them in an album.
Now this isn’t for everyone but I love sewing. I’ve had a go at making but all before but I’ve never owned my own sewing machine, I’m always borrowing my mums or nans. Now that I have Primrose, I’d love to have go at hand making her clothes.
This is a super expensive gift but I feel it will be so worth it. We currently have a Henry hoover, but as we live in a one bedroom still it’s fairly big and bulky to get out of the cupboard without having everything fall out to hoover. I’d absolutely love one for these, I think it’s make hoovering fun again! Plus with Primrose getting older I reckon it’d be super handy to have the handheld part handy for crumbs.
So there you go, my favourite gifts and to be honest, these are all on my christmas list this year!
